These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to steveholleran.com and stevenholleran.com (together, the “Site”), operated by Steven Holleran (“I,” “me,” “Steve”). By visiting, browsing, linking to, quoting, crawling, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

All original photographs, motion picture and video clips, audio, graphics, site design, code, text, selection and arrangement, trademarks in my name and likeness, and other materials on the Site are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other laws of the United States and other countries.

What you may do

You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial reference. You may quote short factual passages about my biography, credits, and ventures, including from llms.txt and llms-full.txt, provided you attribute “Steven Holleran, steveholleran.com,” you do not distort the meaning, and you do not suggest I endorse you. Journalists and agents may cite those facts. That is the entire license.

What you may not do

Without my prior written permission you may not:

• copy, scrape, download, rehost, frame, or redistribute photographs, stills, trailers, film clips, or audio;
• train a commercial model on the Site’s media files, or build a competing reel or dataset from them;
• remove, crop out, or obscure copyright, credit, or watermark notices;
• use my name, face, voice, or biography to imply endorsement, employment, or partnership;
• pass off my images, shots, or systems work as yours;
• harvest email addresses, including representation contacts, for bulk mail;
• attack, overload, probe, or circumvent the host, CDN, or access controls;
• mirror the Site or clone its design as your own product.

Fair use, fair dealing, and similar exceptions that exist by statute are not waived — but they are narrow. If you want a still, a clip, a license, or a collaboration, email steve@cine-monk.com and wait for a yes.

Studio, network, and third-party material

Trailers, key art, titles, and trademarks for Missing, Creed II, Godzilla, The Climb, Fire Chasers, The Age of A.I., and other listed works remain the property of their studios, networks, producers, and other rights holders (including Sony, MGM, Warner Bros., Legendary, Max, Netflix, YouTube, Apple, Canon, Polaris, EA, Coca-Cola, Qwake, IDEX, and others). They appear here only to identify work I directed, photographed, or otherwise contributed to. Nothing on the Site grants a license in those materials or speaks for those companies. Do not treat this Site as a clearance or chain of title.

Credits and accuracy

Credits, dates, and role descriptions are believed accurate and are provided in good faith. They may be incomplete or later corrected. They are not a warranty of billing, residual, or union status. The Site is a portfolio, not a contract, prospectus, or offer of employment.

Ventures

Tank Aerial, Creator Bay, CineBrain, Art Uncharted, Artalyst, and Itinerant Pictures are separate properties with their own terms. Linking to them does not make this Site responsible for those products. Software and systems described here are offered, if at all, under separate agreements.

Speaking and inquiries

Submitting the speaking form, or emailing me or my representatives, is an invitation to talk — not a booking, not a license, and not an engagement. Any talk, shoot, or systems engagement requires a separate signed agreement. Availability is not guaranteed.

No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. I do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that media will play in every browser.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEVEN HOLLERAN AND HIS REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. MY TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limitation applies to the fullest extent allowed.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify me against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Site, your scraping or rehosting of media, your misrepresentation of my work or endorsement, or your breach of these Terms.

Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to steve@cine-monk.com with: your contact information, a description of the work, the URL of the material, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized agent, and your physical or electronic signature. I will respond as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.

Termination

I may block access, remove material, or stop offering the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including All rights reserved, licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws. Exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. You waive class actions to the extent waivable. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement for use of the Site and supersede prior oral or written terms on that subject. I may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date is controlling. Continued use is acceptance.
